Did you say “no cuts, no buts, no coconuts…” if someone cut in line in front of you?
My husband swears everyone said it back in the day. I never heard of it until this morning.

Nope. Not in my neck o’ the woods.
I’ve never heard that, either. We just said, “No cuts” and glared. 🙂
Never heard that before.
Nope – never heard of it. Where did he grow up?
Tracy, he grew up in a suburb of Denver.
I grew up in the USA. I didn’t exactly say “back in the day” but I do remember kids saying it a lot in elementary school. 😛
I grew up in Arvada in the 70’s and don’t remember that one. Cute though. Nicer than I remember being to the line-cutting kids in class!
never heard it. he wouldn’t happen to be from missouri, would he? my husband says the weirdest stuff and I’m hoping that’s why. Otherwise we have problems.
I’m not from Missouri (I basically grew up in Denver), but that doesn’t stop my wife from claiming I say the weirdest stuff.
Sorry for causing problems. Apparently, that’s another thing I’m good at.
I grew up in Missouri in the 70’s and early 80’s and never heard that.
Mary
said it all the time in California
Nope, we didn’t say that in Maryland. But I wish we had. Think I’ll start it here! Cute saying.
No, I’ve never heard that one. (=
LOL, nope never heard of it. My dh and I grew up in Arizona (well, he did from age 10.) He says strange stuff I never heard of either. Of course my kids get a kick out of it all.
Not in MN, nor SD.
Hmmmm. Funny!
DH thinks I made up the saying “Cool Beans” But I hear that all that time in the movies…I think my husband just lead a sheltered life.
Also, if you google “no cuts, no buts, no coconuts” there comes to be alot of hits.
JoAnn
absolutely not
Never heard of it til I read this.
Nope, never heard it! But we did use:
Mopsy, Mopsy, strong and able, get your elbows off the table.
