Denver has two major amusement parks, Elitch’s and Lakeside.
I prefer Lakeside.

I can’t recall the last time I was at Lakeside. But when you have a daughter who works at Elitches (where the roller coasters are so much cooler) why would I pay money to go to Lakeside? Free tickets at Elitches. Yay!

It was at Elitch’s in 1999 where I discovered I no longer had a tolerance for the tilt-a-whirl. And I remember the carousel carriage where I went to get settled and reset for the rest of the day. I think I stayed in that carriage for 20 minutes.
