Oh wow, she is as good as her mom! And I can’t help but think of Isaiah 35 (I just had that chapter last week in my study), the verses where the Lord will revive the land, the desert will blossom, the thirsty ground springs of water, and peace will be near on that day!
That’s very nice. I CANNOT write poetry, although I’ve tried. I just lack the knack. So, I must admit, I’m jealous of Aidan. She is quite good.
I recently posted a poem my daughter wrote when she was in third grade. She, has somehow missed my ability (lack of ability?) to only write down words in prose. I was impressed with her attempt as well.
When I was in tenth grade, I dreamed up growing up to be a poet and a painter. I thought it seemed so romantic and I might buy a flat in Cornwall to live like a Bohemian in.
