Ah! I was always so frustrated as a child b/c, although my first name was a common one, my last name had an extra letter in it that meant it was NEVER on any standard printed ANYTHING.
And my children, whose names are hardly exotic, don’t find their names on personalized items, either. My son’s name is actually somewhat popular but we spell it the British way and so we’ve only found it once or twice on stuff.
Our kids have exotic names, except for one or two! Which means we never buy things with their names on them because it would be might unfair to have two named toothbrushes and the rest well not!!! Wouldn’t it be nice to order them somehow… hood #1, hood #2, hood #3,…. hood #many!!!

I never find our kids’ names on personalized things, yet they are not all that unusual. Once in a while I’ll see an “Elliot” but usually spelled differently. As an Elizabeth, though, I can always find my own name 🙂
