Our ninth child arrived on Thursday, October 4th, 2012 at 1:42pm. His name is Oliver David. He is a little feather, a peanut, weighing in at 5lbs 4oz, 18.5 inches long. His size is not a surprise because he was late pre-term. His due date is still weeks away.

Thankfully, he didn’t need any special care and was able to stay with me in my hospital room our entire stay. We are home now. My job is to recover from my fourth c-section and his is to fatten up and grow, grow, grow. I think we can do this if we work together. Plenty of restful time nursing will mean both goals should be met soon.
I hope to have his birth story written soon.
