Goslyn at Wishful Thinking tagged me to play along with the Six Weird Things About Me meme.
1. I loathe, loathe! cream cheese. That means I will not eat cheese cake. I will only eat cream cheese if it is thoroughly melted and disguised by strong flavors, like spicy peppers or garlic.
2. I hate the scent of crayons.
3. I think I have perfect feet. Nobody agrees with me, though.
4. If I were blindfolded and sat down at a table with 10 cups of fountain Coca-Cola, I would be able to tell which one was from McDonald’s after taking a sip from each.
5. I have never seen any of the “Matrix” or “Harry Potter” movies, nor have I read any of the Harry Potter books or The Da Vinci Code. I hate anything and everything so over-the-top hyped. When stores have to open at midnight to meet demand, I become suspicious and skeptical of what I perceive as the manipulation of marketing geniuses and I refuse to participate.
6. Sauerkraut.
Consider yourself tagged, if you feel up to revealing your quirks. Of course I always tag my husband for these memes, which drives him crazy.
Oooh, remind me to not send you a cheesecake the next time the Broncos beat the Texans! I love cream cheese and cheesecake!! So you can send me one this year when my new and improved team (with your old coach) wins. : )
Sauerkraut thumbs up or thumbs down?
I love that you are a Coca-Cola expert. Fun!
Your husband has a blog? I don’t think I knew that. I’ll have to go check it out.
As for the six weird things….the Coke thing is NOT weird, it is brilliant.
My dear sister,
I feel as though you are missing out…
Sauerkraut…. Sauerkraut what? You’re a kraut… you don’t like Sauerkraut? What about Reuben Sandwiches? Harry Potter, they are good movies, but even better BOOKS! Magical and Mysterious, fun and full of suspense …. give them a try. I MUST, MUST make you try my Chicken Enchilada Casserole Extraordinaire… DELICIOIUS and yes made with cream cheese… oh and REAL NY Style Cheesecake is AMAZING!!!! Visit any Cheesecake Factory in your area for a taste test.. you will be converted 🙂
I never said I don’t like sauerkraut. I simply said “sauerkraut” which is in itself an odd thing to throw out there. See how it is making people wonder?
Sister—I am sure I’d love your Chicken Enchilada Casserole Extraordinaire because the cream cheese is presumably melted and not left in those nasty white chunky bits. I’ve been to the Cheesecake Factory a zillion times and only order their chocolate cake for dessert. It works for me, I can honestly say I’ve never been tempted by any of the cheesecakes.
You are weird. But I like you anyway. 😉
I don’t really like cream cheese either. I don’t know what the hype about cheesecake is about, although I liked is when I was younger.
I’m with you on the hyped products, too.
I can handle chocolate cheesecake, preferably with coconut icing (like on German chocolate cake)but I too hate cream cheese.
And I agree with the hyped up stuff, like Harry Potter, etc. 😛
I wish I had perfect feet. Sigh. Must be nice. I ran around barefoot for about 18 years. Okay, I still do sometimes…and I played a lot of basketball…perfect feet are a dream.
No cream cheese? yep. You’re a weird one all right. But then, see number five on my list and you’ll be assured that I throw no stones.
LOVE the picture of the baby and the dog both on their backs! My favorite!
Well, I can tell the difference between Diet Pepsi from Taco Bell and Diet Pepsi from any other fast food place. 😉
I love the smell of crayons a fresh new box is my favorite.
Char
I bet I could do the Coke challenge too! McDonalds is my absolute favorite place for Coke! (fountain) They have the right mix, except in Matzlan, Mexico, there it tasted like Tequila mixed in….
No cream cheese, huh? I totally can’t get behind that, but I like you anyway 🙂
Love the thing about McD’s coke. Can you tell Pepsi from Coke, too?
I can easily tell Coke from Pepsi. Isn’t that a life-skill, something to put on a resume?
