“Look, mom! I’m the nucleus in a molecule!”
I looked. Sam arranged three hula hoops into a globe and stood inside.
“But what kind of molecule are you?”
I like to test him.
Without missing a beat, he replied, “Calcium, of course.”
We were at our favorite Denver ice cream slinging hot spot, Little Man. Calcium, indeed. My bones are singing the praises of the mocha chip and cupcake and blueberry muffin ice creams they peddle.
And then, my little molecule split and spun forming a new element, defying the laws of chemistry and physics. It’s Samium and it’s very, very rare. Seems to be in motion most of the time.
Totally and absolutely cool!!!
That’s our Sam, unique, spunky, way-too-smart, and funny!
I love it. How I miss my children being young (they are 32, 29 and 20 now) But at least I have my grandchildren, and they say the CUTEST things!!!
I LOVE it! 🙂
