Hey, I just saw a commercial on tv the other day with that song! I think it had something to do with cars, but am not sure since every time it’s on I start thinking about The Muppet Show. Great clip from one of my favorite shows as a child of the 70’s. Thanks for taking me back.
Oh, and you do make pretty babies! Look at that little chin- just scrumptious!
If your stats say I keep returning to your site like twenty times today, it’s because my daughter keeps asking me to replay the video. HUGE muppet fans here – we have every season on DVD. I want that shirt (in my husband’s size!)
Good news, nutmeg! I don’t read or bother to check my stats, so click all you want. There’s no danger I think you are nutty or really, really into my blog.
It is an addicting video. And here’s something that could embarrass my husband: the “muh-nuh-muh-nuh” song has been his cell’s ringtone for months.
I love the dimple in her chin. Supergirl! I cried the day Jim Henson died (I was a junior in high school, and no one understood.) But my favorite Muppety thing is Labyrinth.
Oh, and here’s my favorite Muppet song, performed by Ernie:
Would you like to buy an O?
Round, and sweet?
A tasty new addition, to your alphabet treat?
It’ll cost you just a nickel
(“A nickel?” “Shhhh, right!”)
So buy the O, and take it home, tonight!
I had just finished my freshman year of college when Jim Henson died. I remember hearing the news on the car radio. It was so shocking and sad—the guy who created many of my childhood superstars was gone.
Thanks for the “O” song, too. If it comes glazed, deep-fried, dipped in chocolate, or in groups of a dozen, I’ll take it!
Where, oh where, did you buy that shirt?
Oh, I know. Love it!! That shirt is awesome…
Steph
you guys make beautiful babies!

Made me laugh!

Oh how I love the muppets.
That baby is perfection.
