The latest update on our little dude is that his fluid is holding steady. At the last ultrasound, it was 9.9 which is okay. I had a NST because he isn’t moving a lot, but he passed with a nice reactive strip.
He is head-down and facing my back. The ultrasound pictures are now limited to a foot here and there because he is so scrunched.
I have an ultrasound and NST scheduled for next Wednesday. Please continue keeping us in your prayers. I really need peace because I easily feel myself becoming unglued when he goes too long without moving. And by “too long” I mean 10 minutes. My brain has shimmied down my spine and settled in my belly—if I suddenly lost a hand or a foot, I probably wouldn’t notice. I am continually focused on what he is doing at any given moment.
I love that you labeled every part of this little guys foot. I awoke in the middle of the night thinking of you and wondered how things were going. Glad you updated. I don’t blame you for being so focused on your little one. I’ll keep praying.

That is the sweetest ultrasound ever! I love your labels.
I know what you mean about worrying after ten minutes; I had quite the scare when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I would poke the poor thing when I hadn’t felt her move in a long time (oddly enough, my idea of “a long time” was also ten minutes). She’ll end up in therapy for sure.

I had to have NSTs with the twins. Baby B, now Ilsa, used to really scare us because she’d hide behind her twin and not put in a good showing. I’d have to do calisthenics to get her to move. She still likes to sit still and read, and it’s hard to get her moving, especially in the mornings.

We’re praying for peace for you and wiggles for the baby. Loved the ultrasound – how cool to see a foot so clearly!

You and baby boy continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Love the u/s picture and the labels, too cute!!
Loved those labels! You always make me laugh, Gretchen, even when you’re stressed out!
Praying for you–
What a cute foot! 🙂 Even when nothing was indicative of “wrongness,” I remember being frantic at times when I would think Anja hadn’t moved in more than a few minutes. She was a VERY active baby in the womb (still is very active!), so for her to sit still at all made me worry.
I will pray for you to have continued peace and trust, Gretchen. And of course for health for your little boy.

Oh, that’s so STRESSFUL, isn’t it? One of my babies was a slow moving little person – my Baby, actually – and at any given time late in the pregnancy I was totally FREAKING OUT.
