I love it Gretchen! One of my funniest memories with Adam as an infant was when I was eating a salad over him and a carrot strip landed on his open mouth (he was sleeping).
Oh, brilliant. You could probably even use this as a giant bib for all those times a cranky baby MUST be touching you at all times and necessities must be attended to. I love the oilcloth idea!
Don’t nursing and mama’s mealtime almost always collide? I swear it did for me- they smelled the food or something. If my meal was hot and ready, you could almost guarantee that baby would be hungry.
I can remember babies with food that landed in their ear. Great idea!
I remember my hubby having to cut my dinner up for me with nearly every nursing. My babies were always hungry right as I sat down to eat…no matter what time dinner was. I expect this one due in June will be no different. What a great invention!

I TOTALLY need one of those too. My tiny diner is always hungry when we are having something that requires cutting, or is super messy- like spaghetti.

I think it’s a brilliant idea. I think you could also market it to anyone who has to hold a baby while they are eating.
I have been known to drop food on my niece and friends babies during a mealtime.

I didn’t know if you knew about this – you can request that someone make your design!
I’m new to the world of blogging (well, so far, only blog-reading) and I really enjoy yours.
I have dropped MORE FOOD on my poor baby’s head! Luckily, by the time I was able to eat, my food was always pretty lukewarm.
