Young up-and-coming artist, Beatrix, recently unveiled her latest piece, Disco Monster and Me go to the Disco and Disco Dance at the Disco.
What is notable about this piece is her chosen canvas. Clearly, it was already in use by another artist, Sam. He called his piece, My Science Notes for the Big Project Due on Tuesday.
I love that the disco is taking place on top of the lysosome and golgi bodies. Because what else are you supposed to do with those?

Wow, that is quite the art piece! I love that it’s a disco monster, on a sheet of notes about cells…. That’s great.

Uh oh! But you can’t blame her, right? Wasn’t she was just trying to make a statement about the tension between art and science? To say that somehow art overpowers even the most heavily researched hypothesis? Or…maybe she just ran out of blank paper. 🙂
WOW. Also, loving your new holiday headers.

Priceless. Good work Bea! I adore little people (or monsters) drawn by little people. So whimsical.
Maybe she was just trying to illustrate the science notes. It almost looks like a golgi body with some lysosomes ready to be released.
Ooh, bummer for Sam! I bet he was none too happy. The drama of siblings…
