I got a new digital camera for Valentine’s Day. The instruction manual is thick and brimming with things I don’t understand. I am having a great time playing with it, however. Here are a few of my first pictures.

I have a Canon rebel–it does way more than I will ever use. But for Christmas I got a zoom lense for it, and that has been ultra-fun. Of course, the most important part of being a photographer is the eye, not the equipment, and you’ve already obviously got that, as evidenced by your old banner. Vou est artiste! (I don’t speak French. And Beatrix is so very cute with her serious little brow.)
