Ryley and hubby went shoe shopping last night. Ryley needed a new pair of tennis shoes.
He wears size 7 MEN’S!!!
Men’s! Man shoes! Clodhoppers from the MEN’S department. Big dude scoots!
He is (newly) 10 years old, and he wears MEN’S SHOES!
Do you think this means he’ll be around 8 feet tall?
My 10 yr old wears the same, but we aren’t surprised….Hubby wears a size 13 shoe & the older boys do too. My Hubby is only 5’11”, but one of our boys has gotten up to 6′ 4″ & may not be done growing yet.

totally my fear for my little man, but my husband is a size 14 and 6’3″, so Ryley may not end up at 8 feet 🙂

Yikes! My 14 yo is only 5 feet tall and wears size 5 1/2 men’s. And I know my son is going to be on the short side, but your son is going to be TALL lol.

I don’t think so. Often the feet are the first thing to grow. Mine were size 10 (women’s) before I grew the last 8 inches of my height. Awkward, I tell ya!

And the men’s shoes come with grown up prices too.

I just loved your words, “Men’s! Man shoes! Clodhoppers from the MEN’S department. Big dude scoots!” Cracked me up 🙂

Too funny! My daughter is 7 1/2 and wears a size 4 – just on the brink of the adult sizes. The pediatrician predicts she’ll be six feet tall, but she was born with big feet. Newborn socks? We completely skipped that size.
