It’s themeless and timeless.
Our tree is always colorful.
I love glass.
I love glitter.
One year, I might fall in love with blue.
The next year, red and green.
All ornaments are welcome to the technicolor party in our living room.
The simple.
Painted, ornate, delicate.
Above all my aspirations for a lovely, eye-catching tree, I am a mom.
Looks just like our tree. I have so many plastic ornaments, action figures etc. The kids get an ornament every Dec. 23rd. I have special boxes to keep each child’s ornaments so when they move on they will take them with them and though I will miss all the homemade (and otherwise) memories then I may have a theme tree!

Gorgeous pictures! These are the best kinds of trees. The kinds with the ornaments that are loved and cherished just like the hands that put them up.

You made Darth look good! I am sitting here looking at the Spaceman Santa on my tree, wondering how such a monstrosity could come to exist, and why is it in my house? Oh, yeah – because I’m a mom. Thanks for reminding me.

I like a real mix too — and glass and glitter are my favorites. We have a couple of ornaments that are cousins to yours. We don’t have a darth vader, but this year we do have a basketball (which doesn’t qualify as pretty for me).
Darth Vader would be right at home here. Among many broken ornaments and Nativity scenes… I love being a Mom! : )

LOL! I was scrolling down thinking to myself, does she really only have pretty glass ornaments on her tree? One of our more odd ornaments belongs to my husband, not the kids. It is Kevin Garnett (in his Timberwolves uniform) attempting to slam dunk on the star at the top.
We buy each child a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament each year and I try to find one that reflects their interests over the prior year. This year, they both got Star Wars ornaments. Go figure.
HA! Looks like my tree!

AAawwwww…. Love it!
I immediately wonder what Christmas Vader is thinking. “Welcome to the dark side of the Christmas tree.”

lol I LOVE this. This is SO typical a mom. A good mom who allows her child to express him/herself. SO cute!!!
