Did you know it is not good to describe yourself as feeling nauseous?
When you declare you are nauseous, what you are really saying is that you inspire nausea. You cause nausea. You are akin to the tumbling hot dog in your core as you ride on the roller coaster.
The correct way to describe the symptom of nausea is to say, “I am feeling nauseated.”
Hm (making mental note). Good to know, good to know…

Actually, I do believe I am nauseous. Just ask around.
I looked that up once (after my own inproper use of the word) and I’ve never been the same.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am forever correcting DH on this point! He is not nauseous, but occasionally gets nauseated.
Although if you’re feeling nauseated, you might be nauseous, inspiring nausea in others. 😉
