I feel almost guilty posting these photos, taken this morning. We are soaking up the sun out here in the wild west. I think our region needs it’s own groundhog.
Pennsylvania has Phil.
Denver should have a prairie dog named Fleabag or Smugly or perhaps Fivethousandtwohundredandeighty.
Archie lounged in his bouncer, which I took outside:
The blanket was completely unnecessary…
Joel and Beatrix played and got their daily Vitamin D:
I know more winter is coming. March is Colorado’s snowiest month, a fact the weather-yappers on TV love to remind annoyed viewers.
We’ll see more white. Until then:
Oh, too cruel! Though I think it’s supposed to get up to 35 here this weekend, so I can’t complain too much…

You can have PHIL!!! I just posted a blog on how ridiculous the whole ground hog day thing is and have called it PA’s most embarrassing moment!

I NEED TO GO OUTSIDE!!! Wow, sorry. Cabin fever around here.
Those are splendid photos. I’m glad you are getting a mini vacation from snow to refresh you for round two.
And I’m trying not to be jealous.

Oh, be still my heart. Do I see children playing without jackets? It’s four degrees over here in the Detroit Metro. Brrr.

Beatrix is gorgeous! What a shock to see her photo, since I still think of her as a baby. She is so… NOT!
Great photos! What a wonderful treat for you and the kiddos.
I don’t feel guilty for enjoying our blue skies and weather in the low 70’s (we have the windows open right now), because we have such unbearably hot, long summers. In fact, I’m thinking about having our 4th of July BBQ in March, so that we can enjoy our hamburgers and fries without feeling like we’re on the grill rack too.
